Stats & Training
You won't find a real weakness in Celebi's stat line. It's well-rounded for the Time Travel Pokemon, and what it does with that depends on moveset and items. Yields 3 HP EVs, on a 1.06M XP medium-slow curve.
This Pokémon came from the future by crossing over time. It is thought that so long as Celebi appears, a bright and shining future awaits us.

Celebi Weakness
Celebi's Psychic/Grass typing leaves it vulnerable to Bug, Fire, Ice, Poison, Flying, Ghost, and Dark. Bug hits land at 4x, so they're the biggest threat. It resists 6 types, so it can switch into a lot of moves safely. Celebi's overall bulk (100/100/100) lets it take a hit or two from most weaknesses before going down.
| Damage | Types |
|---|---|
| 4x (Critical) | Bug |
| 2x (Weak) | Fire, Ice, Poison, Flying, Ghost, Dark |
| 0.5x (Resist) | Water, Electric, Grass, Fighting, Ground, Psychic |
In Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire, Weavile's Knock Off hits Celebi for 59-69%. Zapdos deals 38-45% with Heat Wave.

Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire Celebi Best Moveset
Stealth Rock is the priority every time Celebi comes in. Bold nature and HP-heavy investment EVs keep it alive long enough to get layers down, while Leftovers provides passive recovery each turn. Natural Cure rounds it out. Recover keeps it healthy between hits.

STAB runs through Leaf Storm and Future Sight for the basics, but Celebi's real strength is the 10-type coverage spread. Rock and Normal hit common defensive types, and the movepool keeps going.

How to Get Celebi in Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire
No wild encounters for Celebi in Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire. It's available in Crystal and can be transferred over. The details below show where to find it.
Celebi Guide
For the Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire meta, At 600 BST, Celebi is built different. We rank it C-Tier. As a Mythical Pokemon, the raw stats back up the reputation. Best used as a sweeper. Giga Drain with Leftovers is the standard set.
In Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire, watch for Scizor (Bug), Arcanine (Fire), and Lapras (Ice) when using Celebi. They all hit it super-effectively with STAB. Scizor is the most dangerous since Bug moves deal 4x damage. Poison, Flying, Ghost, and Dark-type attackers are also a problem. With 7 weakness types, most competitive teams carry at least one counter. Celebi has enough bulk to absorb a hit, but don't push the matchup. Pivot to a teammate that resists.
Celebi gets Natural Cure. But Natural Cure is the one that matters. It's the centerpiece of every viable set. Build around that. With base 100 Speed, Natural Cure gives Celebi an edge before opponents can react.
Celebi is leaning toward the physical side (base 100 Attack). Tanky enough to absorb a few hits, too. Speed tells the real story. Base 100 Speed lets it outrun most of the field. Fits the sweeper role.
For Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire, Celebi has answers, but so do you. Priority moves (Mach Punch, Aqua Jet, Ice Shard) bypass its speed. Bulky walls that resist its STAB also shut it down.
