Bramblin doesn't have much going for it on its own — the stats just aren't there. The payoff is Brambleghast, and getting there is worth the grind. Introduced in Gen 9. Normal and Fighting moves can't touch it, which offsets the 5 weaknesses somewhat.
Attack and Speed carry most of Bramblin's stat budget. Defense's the obvious dump stat. Common in the wild and yields 1 Attack EV. Follows a medium-fast 1M XP curve.
A soul unable to move on to the afterlife was blown around by the wind until it got tangled up with dried grass and became a Pokémon.
Not even Bramblin knows where it is headed as it tumbles across the wilderness, blown by the wind. It loathes getting wet.
Bramblin Weakness
AvgType-wise, Bramblin takes extra damage from Fire, Ice, Flying, Ghost, and Dark. Normal and Fighting moves do nothing thanks to a full immunity. 4 resistances help offset the weaknesses.
Bramblin doesn't evolve by leveling. You'll need a unique condition to push it forward to Brambleghast. Evolving adds up to 205 stat points total.
How to Evolve
Eviolite turns Bramblin into a wall that rivals fully evolved options. Windrider and Adamant nature stack with a spread EV build EVs to create a surprisingly tough defensive core.

Leveling does the heavy lifting. Bramblin picks up Phantom Force and Power Whip along the way, building toward a complete offensive set. TMs add Rock and Normal coverage and more, but the foundation's already strong by then.

Bramblin is meant to evolve into Brambleghast. At 275 BST, the stats aren't there for competitive play yet. Pre-evolution Pokemon rarely hold up against fully evolved threats.
Bramblin's biggest threats include Volcarona (Fire), Baxcalibur (Ice), and Dodrio (Flying), all carrying super-effective STAB moves. Ghost and Dark-type attackers are also a problem. With 5 weakness types, most competitive teams carry at least one counter.
Bramblin evolves into Brambleghast through a special method. Bramblin is the base form of this evolutionary line.
Wind Rider is the go-to ability for Bramblin. It gives immunity to wind moves, and causes the Pokémon's Attack to increase by one stage when hit by one. Its hidden ability Infiltrator can work in specific setups.
At base 60 Speed, it won't be moving first often. On offense, Bramblin is a special attacker with base 45 Sp. Atk. Defensively? Fragile — can't afford to take many hits. Best used as a hazard setter.
Bramblin can be found in Scarlet & Violet.
