Stats & Training
The stat bars tell the story: Attack carries everything and Speed's dead weight. But this Freezing Pokemon still yields 2 Attack EVs per fight on a medium-fast 1M XP curve.
It is a ferocious, carnivorous Pokémon. Once it captures its prey, it will breathe cold air onto the prey to freeze and preserve it.
Feared as the Snow-White Demon in northern lands, Beartic uses its frosty claws and fangs to attack prey.
Beartic Weakness
Type-wise, Beartic takes extra damage from Fire, Fighting, Rock, and Steel. Not too many gaps in the chart, 4 weaknesses to account for.

How to Get Beartic in Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon
Beartic isn't available in the wild in Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon. Start by transferring Cubchoo from Black, Black 2, or Sword. The evolution path from Cubchoo to Beartic is covered in the steps below.
Beartic Guide
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, Beartic looks average on paper at 505 BST. But Slush Rush is why it sees play. Build around that and it pulls its weight. C-Tier wallbreaker on our tier list. Iciclecrash with Assault Vest is the standard set.
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, Beartic's biggest threats include Volcarona (Fire), Machamp (Fighting), and Aerodactyl (Rock), all carrying super-effective STAB moves. Steel-type attackers are also a problem.
Beartic gets Slush Rush, Snow Cloak, and Swift Swim. But Slush Rush is the one that matters. It's the centerpiece of every viable set. Build around that.
Beartic is a physical attacker with base 130 Attack. Enough bulk to take a hit or two, too. Speed tells the real story. Base 50 Speed is low. Priority moves or Trick Room are the way to go. Fits the wallbreaker role.
For Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, the core moveset is Iciclecrash, Aqua Jet, Rock Slide, and Poweruppunch. Iciclecrash leads at 25% usage. This set covers the wallbreaker role with a mix of damage and utility.
Game Availability
Since Black & White, Beartic has been obtainable in 8 games. A Generation 5 debut means a shorter history, but Beartic has appeared steadily across every generation since.
