Dracozolt Best Moveset
AbilityHustle boosts Attack 50% at reduced accuracy, pushing 100 base to 150 effective. Electric/Dragon TermStab covers nearly every typing, and MoveBolt Beak doubles power when moving first. The moveset hits with extreme force when accuracy and Speed align. A-tier because the Bolt Beak damage when outspeeding is format-warping.
Dracozolt held a solid A-Tier position in Gen VIII. This was Dracozolt's competitive peak. Its most popular set ran Sandrush with Life Orb, favoring a Adamant nature.

How to Get Dracozolt
Dracozolt is not available as a wild encounter in this game.
This is an event-exclusive or special distribution.
Base Stats
Attack and HP carry most of Dracozolt's stat budget. Sp. Def's the obvious dump stat. Tough to catch and yields 2 Attack EVs. Follows a slow 1.25M XP grind.
The powerful muscles in its tail generate its electricity. Compared to its lower body, its upper half is entirely too small.
Dracozolt Guide
Sand Rush changes the entire equation for Dracozolt. The 505 BST doesn't tell the full story. Ranked C-Tier as an attacker.
Sand Rush is what you want on Dracozolt. Every competitive set worth running is built with that ability in mind. The alternatives (Volt Absorb, Hustle) work on paper but Sand Rush is what makes Dracozolt worth using.
Base 75 Speed is workable. Faster than some, slower than many. On offense, Dracozolt is a physical attacker with base 100 Attack. Defensively? Enough bulk to take a hit or two. Best used as an attacker.
The core moveset is Boltbeak, Earthquake, Dragonclaw, and Outrage. Boltbeak leads at 0% usage. Outrage provides reliable STAB damage.
Game Availability
Dracozolt joined the series in Sword & Shield and has been available in 1 titles so far. With 3 generations of appearances, it's established itself despite the later start.
