While most trainers evolve Stufful into Bewear immediately, the unevolved form has a niche with Eviolite boosting its defenses. Ghost moves can't touch it, which offsets the 4 weaknesses somewhat. Known as the Flailing Pokemon. The stat spread favors raw physical power.
Stufful's spread isn't flashy. Attack leads, Sp. Atk trails, 0 stats clear the bar. Common in the wild and worth 1 Attack EV, on a medium-fast 1M XP curve.
Despite its adorable appearance, when it gets angry and flails about, its arms and legs could knock a pro wrestler sprawling.
A touch from anyone except a known friend sends it into a surging frenzy. It’s an incredibly dangerous Pokémon.
Stufful Weakness
AvgStufful's Normal/Fighting typing leaves it vulnerable to Fighting, Flying, Psychic, and Fairy moves. It shrugs off Ghost-type attacks completely.
Stufful evolves into Bewear. It's a two-stage chain with the method shown below. No compatible partners for breeding via one egg group. Eggs are quick to hatch. The evolved forms gain up to 160 total stats over Stufful.
How to Evolve
Breed Stufful easily from the Ground egg group. Pass egg moves like Endure, Force Palm, Ice Punch and 4 more to offspring.

The natural movepool does the job, but Endure and Force Palm from the egg pool give Stufful something extra. Pair those with Thrash and Double-Edge for STAB and Dark and Flying coverage and more for reach, and the kit fills out nicely.

Watch for Conkeldurr (Fighting), Braviary (Flying), and Starmie (Psychic) when using Stufful. They all hit it super-effectively with STAB. Fairy-type attackers are also a problem.
Stufful evolves into Bewear at level 27. Stufful is the base form of this evolutionary line.
Fluffy damage from contact moves is halved — that's the one you want on Stufful. Cute Charm is the hidden ability. Niche, but it has its uses. Klutz works too if your team needs something different.
Stufful fills the balanced role. It's a physical attacker with base 75 Attack. Base 50 Speed is low. Priority moves or Trick Room are the way to go.
Stufful can be found in Sword & Shield, Sun & Moon, and Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon.
Introduced in Sun & Moon, Stufful has appeared in 3 games across 3 generations. Later debuts mean fewer total appearances, but it's been a consistent presence since its introduction.
