While most trainers evolve Pansage into Simisage immediately, the unevolved form has a niche with Eviolite boosting its defenses. 5 type weaknesses to keep in mind. Introduced in Gen 5. Known as the Grass Monkey Pokemon.
An unusually even spread gives Pansage flexibility. Speed barely edges ahead. But Defense isn't far off. Common in the wild and follows a medium-fast 1M XP curve. Yields 1 Speed EV.
It shares the leaf on its head with weary-looking Pokémon. These leaves are known to relieve stress.
It’s good at finding berries and gathers them from all over. It’s kind enough to share them with friends.
Pansage Weakness
FragilePansage's Grass typing leaves it vulnerable to Fire, Ice, Poison, Flying, and Bug moves. 4 resistances help offset the weaknesses. 5 weaknesses means you'll want teammates that can handle the coverage gaps.
Pansage doesn't evolve by leveling. You'll need an evolution item to push it forward to Simisage. The evolved forms gain up to 182 total stats over Pansage.
How to Evolve

Gluttony makes the Pokémon eat any held Berry triggered by low HP below 1/2 its max HP — that's the one you want on Pansage. Overgrow is the hidden ability. Niche, but it has its uses.
At base 64 Speed, it won't be moving first often. On offense, Pansage is leaning toward the physical side (base 53 Attack). Defensively? Fragile — can't afford to take many hits.
