Electric and Ground moves don't affect Gliscor at all — that's the advantage of Ground/Flying typing. Poison Heal heals from poison instead of taking damage. It sits at a decent but contested Speed tier. Known as the Fang Scorp Pokemon.
Defense leads and Sp. Atk gets almost nothing. That's Gliscor's stat line in a nutshell. 3 stats sit in respectable range, but the spread is brutal. Tough to catch and yields 2 Defense EVs.
Its flight is soundless. It uses its lengthy tail to carry off its prey... Then its elongated fangs do the rest.
Gliscor Weakness
ExcellentGliscor is weak to Ice and Water-type moves. Watch out for Ice attacks, those deal 4x damage. On the flip side, it's immune to Electric and Ground-type moves entirely. Gliscor's physical bulk (base 125 Def) helps cushion physical weakness hits, but special attackers are the bigger threat.
- Fairy type does not exist — Dragon has fewer checks
- Physical / Special split now per-move (introduced Gen IV)
Getting Gliscor requires a held item, not just grinding levels. The chain starts at Gligar. Breed this form to get Gligar eggs (average hatch time). Attack grew the most through evolution (+20 over Gligar), and Gliscor peaks at 510 total stats.
How to Evolve
Breed with Gliscor to get Gligar eggs easily using 47 partners from the Bug egg group. Notable egg moves include Agility, Baton Pass, Counter and 9 more.
Bulk and offense in one package. Gliscor runs Leftovers for passive recovery each turn with a Jolly nature, so it survives long enough to threaten with Earthquake. Max HP and Speed EVs and utility options make it hard to safely switch into.

Recommended Teammates
The TM pool is where it gets interesting. Coverage across 11 types means almost nothing walls Gliscor cleanly, with Sky Attack and Earthquake anchoring the STAB side. Matchup flexibility isn't a problem.

You're catching Gligar first, not Gliscor. Gligar appears at decent rates in the encounters below. The step cards map the full 2-stage line with evolution methods between each stage.

Poison Heal changes the entire equation for Gliscor. The 510 BST doesn't tell the full story. Ranked B-Tier.
Gligar evolves into Gliscor while holding a Razor Fang. Gliscor is the fully evolved form. At 510 BST, it's got solid stats to work with.
Poison Heal is what you want on Gliscor. Every competitive set worth running is built with that ability in mind. The alternatives (Hyper Cutter, Sand Veil) work on paper but Poison Heal is what makes Gliscor worth using.
Base 95 Speed is workable — faster than some, slower than many. On offense, Gliscor is a physical attacker with base 95 Attack. Defensively? Enough bulk to take a hit or two.
Gliscor appears in 12 games, including Platinum, HeartGold & SoulSilver, and Diamond & Pearl.
Obtainable through an item-based evolution, Gliscor appears in 12 titles across 6 generations since Diamond & Pearl. The evolution method adds a barrier that wild-catchable Pokemon don't have.
