ExcellentFire-type moves hit Genesect for super-effective damage. Fire hits land at 4x, so they're the biggest threat. The upside? Poison-type moves can't touch it at all. With 8 resistances, the defensive profile is strong. With 71 HP and balanced defenses, Genesect can afford to eat a neutral hit or two.
Mythical Pokemon don't breed, and Genesect is no exception. This Bug/Steel type sits at 600 stats with no chain to speak of.
How to Evolve
Fire coverage gives Genesect answers even while choice-locked. Choice Scarf provides speed patching through item lock, and a spread EV build EVs with Download mean every prediction that lands hits hard.
