Blipbug sits at the start of its evolution line — not yet at full power, but that changes fast. Most trainers push through to Orbeetle as fast as possible. Known as the Larva Pokemon. Part of the Gen 8 roster.
You won't find a real weakness in Blipbug's stat line. It's well-rounded for the Larva Pokemon, and what it does with that depends on moveset and items. Yields 1 Sp. Def EV, on a medium-fast 1M XP curve.
A constant collector of information, this Pokémon is very smart. Very strong is what it isn’t.
Often found in gardens, this Pokémon has hairs on its body that it uses to assess its surroundings.
Blipbug Weakness
AvgBlipbug is weak to Fire, Flying, and Rock-type moves. Blipbug's special bulk (base 45 Sp.Def) helps absorb special-type weaknesses, though physical moves exploit the lower Defense.
Blipbug kicks off a three-stage evolution line through Dottler all the way to Orbeetle. For breeding, quick to hatch with plenty of partners via one egg group. Evolving adds up to 325 stat points total.

Blipbug is leaning toward the special side (base 25 Sp. Atk). Fragile — can't afford to take many hits, too. But the speed tells the real story — base 45 Speed is low. Priority moves or Trick Room are the way to go.
