Unaware ignores the opponent's stat boosts, letting Bibarel hit way above its stat class. Normal/Water typing helps — Ghost moves can't touch it, and only 3 types hit it super-effectively. Introduced in Gen 4. It needs some investment to avoid getting outsped.
Attack and HP carry most of Bibarel's stat budget. Sp. Atk's the obvious dump stat. Common in the wild and yields 2 Attack EVs. Follows a medium-fast 1M XP curve.
Bibarel fur repels water and is also a fantastic material for heat retention. These Pokémon create dams on rivers to live in.
Bibarel Weakness
GoodBibarel is weak to Electric, Grass, and Fighting-type moves. On the flip side, it's immune to Ghost-type moves entirely. 4 resistances help offset the weaknesses.
Evolved from Bidoof. Bibarel is the final form in this two-stage line. Plenty of partners for breeding via two egg groups. Eggs are quick to hatch. Attack grew the most through evolution (+40 over Bidoof), and Bibarel peaks at 410 total stats.
How to Evolve
One boost from Swords Dance and Bibarel gets dangerous fast. The Adamant nature targets max Attack and Speed, and Simple backs the whole approach. Facade and utility options handle most of what's left standing.

A solid spread overall. Bibarel gets Giga Impact and Hyper Beam for same-type damage alongside coverage across 8 types. It won't blow anyone away, but it doesn't leave you stuck either.
