For Yellow, we rate Aerodactyl B-Tier: a solid option in Yellow for the right team. At 500 BST, it fits the setup sweeper role. Fire Blast anchors the moveset.
Mega Evolution isn't available in Yellow, but Aerodactyl does have a Mega form in Gen 6-7 games (X/Y, ORAS, Sun/Moon). Mega Aerodactyl hits 600 BST.
In Yellow, Aerodactyl's biggest threats include Gyarados (Water), Raikou (Electric), and Lapras (Ice), all carrying super-effective STAB moves. Rock-type attackers are also a problem. Aerodactyl's base 130 Speed lets it outpace many threats and strike first, which matters more than trying to tank hits.
Base 130 Speed lets it outrun most of the field. On offense, Aerodactyl is a physical attacker with base 105 Attack. Defensively? Enough bulk to take a hit or two. Best used as a setup sweeper.
