127 base Sp. Atk is no joke, but Naganadel can't afford to take a hit back. It comfortably outruns most offensive threats, so at least it usually attacks first. Known as the Poison Pin Pokemon. One of the newer additions from Gen 7.
Naganadel's built around special offense. Sp. Atk leads the charge, HP pays for it. Tough to catch, worth 3 Sp. Atk EVs. Follows a slow 1.25M XP grind.
It stores hundreds of liters of poisonous liquid inside its body. It is one of the organisms known as UBs.
One kind of Ultra Beast, it fires a glowing, venomous liquid from its needles. This liquid is also immensely adhesive.
Naganadel Weakness
AvgNaganadel is weak to Ice, Ground, Psychic, and Dragon-type moves. 7 resistances give it solid defensive coverage on top of that. Naganadel leans toward special offense (base 127 Sp.Atk) instead of trying to wall anything.
Naganadel evolved from Poipole after learning Dragon Pulse, landing at 540 stats as a Poison/Dragon type. Breeding isn't in the picture. Evolving from Poipole gave Naganadel the biggest boost in Sp.Atk (+54), bringing the total to 540 stats.
How to Evolve
Life Orb buys the setup turn. Naganadel clicks Nasty Plot, then starts cleaning with Sludgewave and Fire coverage. Timid nature with max Sp. Atk and Speed EVs makes sure nothing tanks a boosted hit comfortably.

Naganadel has a 540 base stat total and ranks as B-Tier — a solid choice for the right team. It works best as a sweeper. Base 127 Sp. Atk is where it shines.
Poipole evolves into Naganadel after learning Dragon Pulse. Naganadel is the fully evolved form. At 540 BST, it's got solid stats to work with.
Beast Boost is the go-to ability for Naganadel. It raises this Pokémon's highest stat by one stage when it faints another Pokémon. It's Naganadel's only ability.
Naganadel fills the sweeper role. It's a special attacker with base 127 Sp. Atk. Base 121 Speed lets it outrun most of the field. And it's enough bulk to take a hit or two.
Naganadel can be found in Sword & Shield and Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon.
Introduced in Sun & Moon, Naganadel has appeared in 2 games across 3 generations. Later debuts mean fewer total appearances, but it's been a consistent presence since its introduction.
