Normal and Fighting moves don't affect Annihilape at all — that's the advantage of Fighting/Ghost typing. It sits at a decent but contested Speed tier. Known as the Rage Monkey Pokemon. The stat spread favors raw physical power.

Attack and HP carry most of Annihilape's stat budget. Sp. Atk's the obvious dump stat. Tough to catch and yields 3 Attack EVs. Follows a medium-fast 1M XP curve.

When its anger rose beyond a critical point, this Pokémon gained power that is unfettered by the limits of its physical body.

It imbues its fists with the power of the rage that it kept hidden in its heart. Opponents struck by these imbued fists will be shattered to their core.

Annihilape Weakness

Good

Annihilape's Fighting/Ghost typing leaves it vulnerable to Flying, Psychic, Ghost, and Fairy moves. It shrugs off Normal and Fighting-type attacks completely. Annihilape's overall bulk (110/80/90) lets it take a hit or two from most weaknesses before going down.

  3. Annihilape
    Step 3Annihilape
  • We rate Annihilape A-Tier — a strong competitive pick. At 535 BST, it fits the wallbreaker role. Base 115 Attack stands out.

  • Watch for Aerodactyl (Flying), Espeon (Psychic), and Chandelure (Ghost) when using Annihilape. They all hit it super-effectively with STAB. Fairy-type attackers are also a problem.

  • Primeape evolves into Annihilape using a Rage Fist 20 Times. Annihilape is the final evolution in a 3-stage line starting from Mankey. At 535 BST, it's got solid stats to work with.

  • Vital Spirit prevents sleep — that's the one you want on Annihilape. Defiant is the hidden ability. Niche, but it has its uses. Inner Focus works too if your team needs something different.

  • Base 90 Speed is workable — faster than some, slower than many. On offense, Annihilape is a physical attacker with base 115 Attack. Defensively? Tanky enough to absorb a few hits. Best used as a wallbreaker.

  • Annihilape can be found in Legends: Z-A and Scarlet & Violet.

Annihilape joined the series in Scarlet & Violet and has been available in 2 titles so far. With 1 generation of appearances, it's established itself despite the later start.
