While most trainers evolve Vullaby into Mandibuzz immediately, the unevolved form has a niche with Eviolite boosting its defenses. Ground and Psychic moves can't touch it, which offsets the 4 weaknesses somewhat. Known as the Diapered Pokemon.
Vullaby's built to absorb hits, not race for knockouts. Balanced defenses with Defense doing the heavy lifting. And the slow 1.25M XP grind means it won't take forever to bring up, worth 1 Defense EV.
It protects its plump posterior with the bones of prey it has consumed. As it grows, it replaces the bones.
It can’t fly yet and must wait until its wings have developed more. Since it’s still at a playful age, it hops around friskily.
Vullaby Weakness
GoodElectric, Ice, Rock, and Fairy-type moves hit Vullaby for super-effective damage. The upside? Ground and Psychic-type moves can't touch it at all.
Vullaby is the base form in a two-stage line leading to Mandibuzz. Check the evolution method below. No compatible partners for breeding via one egg group. Eggs are average hatch time. The evolved forms gain up to 140 total stats over Vullaby.
How to Evolve

Big Pecks protects against Defense drops — that's the one you want on Vullaby. Weak Armor is the hidden ability. Niche, but it has its uses. Overcoat works too if your team needs something different.
Vullaby is leaning toward the physical side (base 55 Attack). Enough bulk to take a hit or two, too. But the speed tells the real story — at base 60 Speed, it won't be moving first often.
