Stats & Training
Pachirisu's spread isn't flashy. Speed leads, Attack trails, 2 stats clear the bar. Easy to catch and worth 1 Speed EV, on a medium-fast 1M XP curve.
It’s one of the kinds of Pokémon with electric cheek pouches. It shoots charges from its tail.
A pair may be seen rubbing their cheek pouches together in an effort to share stored electricity.
Pachirisu Weakness
Ground moves hit Pachirisu for super-effective damage. Its Electric typing keeps the defensive matchups simple. Volt Absorb grants an additional Electric immunity, reshaping the matchup chart. With 60 HP and balanced defenses, Pachirisu can afford to eat a neutral hit or two.

Moves
Don't skip the egg moves. Pachirisu picks up Baby-Doll Eyes and Bite only through breeding, and both fill gaps the natural movepool can't. STAB runs through Thunder and Thunderbolt while coverage across 9 types adds range.

Pachirisu Guide
In Scarlet & Violet, watch for Rhydon (Ground) when using Pachirisu. They all hit it super-effectively with STAB. Only 1 weakness means fewer dedicated counters to worry about.
For Scarlet & Violet, it depends on your team. Pachirisu at 405 BST isn't a powerhouse, but the Electric coverage might be exactly what you're missing.
In Scarlet & Violet, Don't let Pachirisu's 405 base stat total fool you. Volt Absorb is what makes it tick. It punches way above its weight class. We rate it C-Tier. Followme with Sitrus Berry is the standard set.
In Scarlet & Violet, Run Volt Absorb on Pachirisu. It's the ability that defines how you build around it and the main reason it holds a competitive niche. Pachirisu also gets Run Away and Pickup, but they don't compare.
In Scarlet & Violet, Electric typing gives Pachirisu 3 resistances. Base 95 Speed is the standout stat. 405 BST gives it a workable foundation.
