Drifblim's Ghost/Flying typing gives it an immunity to Normal, Fighting, and Ground. The 5 weaknesses are the tradeoff, but that immunity creates real opportunities. Been around since Gen 4. It needs some investment to avoid getting outsped.
Drifblim's spread is anchored by HP, with balanced defenses backing it up. Defense is the clear weak point. Worth 2 HP EVs per KO, and the standard growth curve keeps leveling painless.
It’s drowzy in daytime, but flies off in the evening in big groups. No one knows where they go.
It carries people and Pokémon when it flies. But since it only drifts, it can end up anywhere.
Drifblim Weakness
ExcellentType-wise, Drifblim takes extra damage from Electric, Ice, Rock, Ghost, and Dark. Normal, Fighting, and Ground moves do nothing thanks to a full immunity.
- Fairy type does not exist — Dragon has fewer checks
- Physical / Special split now per-move (introduced Gen IV)
Drifblim is the evolved form of Drifloon. Breeding produces Drifloon eggs, and they're slow to hatch. Evolving from Drifloon gave Drifblim the biggest boost in HP (+60), bringing the total to 498 stats.
How to Evolve
Breed with Drifblim to get Drifloon eggs easily using 31 partners from the Indeterminate egg group. Notable egg moves include Body Slam, Destiny Bond, Disable and 3 more.
Sitrus Berry buys the setup turn. Drifblim clicks Calm Mind, then starts cleaning with Shadow Ball and the remaining moves. Timid nature with max Sp. Atk and Speed EVs makes sure nothing tanks a boosted hit comfortably.

The egg pool carries weight here. Body Slam and Destiny Bond aren't available any other way for Drifblim, and they meaningfully change what it threatens. Stack those on top of Fly and Shadow Ball for solid options.
