What separates Arctovish from the pack is Slush Rush — it doubles its Speed in snow. Combine that with Water/Ice typing and it relies on priority moves or Scarf to keep up. Only weak to Electric, Grass, Fighting, and Rock.
Bulk defines Arctovish's stat line. Defense and HP anchor the defensive side, but Speed can't keep up offensively. Tough to catch and worth 2 Defense EVs.
Though it’s able to capture prey by freezing its surroundings, it has trouble eating the prey afterward because its mouth is on top of its head.
The skin on its face is impervious to attack, but breathing difficulties made this Pokémon go extinct anyway.
Arctovish Weakness
VulnerableArctovish's Water/Ice typing leaves it vulnerable to Electric, Grass, Fighting, and Rock moves. Water Absorb grants an additional Water immunity, reshaping the matchup chart. Arctovish's overall bulk (90/100/90) lets it take a hit or two from most weaknesses before going down.
You won't breed Arctovish or evolve it further. This Water/Ice type brings 505 total stats right out of the encounter.
How to Evolve
Expert Belt and Slushrush form the backbone. Arctovish invests max HP and Attack EVs to play its physical attacker role properly, and Adamant nature pushes Attack higher. Fishiousrend handles the heavy lifting on offense. The remaining moves rounds it out.
