Mid-stage Pokemon like Zigzagoon rarely see competitive play outside of special formats. It's a waypoint on the road to Galarian Obstagoon, which is where the real potential kicks in. Ghost moves can't touch it, and only a single type hits it super-effectively. Known as the TinyRaccoon Pokemon.
Nothing fancy in Zigzagoon's spread. It leans mixed with Speed out front. And you'll get 1 Speed EV per KO for it. Follows a medium-fast 1M XP curve.
It walks in zigzag fashion. It’s good at finding items in the grass and even in the ground.
Zigzagoon Weakness
GoodZigzagoon's Normal typing leaves it vulnerable to Fighting moves. It shrugs off Ghost-type attacks completely. Zigzagoon's Normal typing only leaves 1 gap to cover.
Zigzagoon is the base form in a two-stage line leading to Linoone. Check the evolution method below. No compatible partners for breeding via one egg group. Eggs are quick to hatch. The evolved forms gain up to 180 total stats over Zigzagoon.
How to Evolve
Breed Zigzagoon easily from the Ground egg group. Pass egg moves like Charm, Extreme Speed, Helping Hand and 4 more to offspring.
Extreme Speed is the safe click most turns. Choice Scarf locks Zigzagoon into it but rewards with speed patching through item lock. Jolly nature and max Attack and Speed EVs maximize that first hit. Quickfeet helps on the margins.

Breadth over depth defines this movepool. Zigzagoon won't stack one type's damage ceiling, but coverage across 10 types means it always has an effective option. Double-Edge and Take Down anchor the STAB core.

Zigzagoon's encounter pool splits between Shining Pearl and Brilliant Diamond. You've got 8 walking spots at Lv. 3-63 total, but your version determines which ones actually show up.
At 240 BST, Zigzagoon is firmly in pre-evolution territory. Evolve it into Linoone before bringing it to any serious fight.
Watch for Blaziken (Fighting) when using Zigzagoon. They all hit it super-effectively with STAB. Only 1 weakness means fewer dedicated counters to worry about.
Zigzagoon can evolve into Linoone and Galarian Linoone depending on the method. Zigzagoon is the base form in a 4-stage evolutionary line.
Pickup picks up other Pokémon's used and Flung held items — that's the one you want on Zigzagoon. Quick Feet is the hidden ability. Niche, but it has its uses. Gluttony works too if your team needs something different.
Zigzagoon is leaning toward the physical side (base 30 Attack). Fragile — can't afford to take many hits, too. But the speed tells the real story — at base 60 Speed, it won't be moving first often.
