Psychic moves don't affect Urshifu at all — that's the advantage of Fighting/Dark typing. It sits at a decent but contested Speed tier. Known as the Wushu Pokemon. Built to hit on the physical side.

Attack and HP carry most of Urshifu's stat budget. Sp. Def's the obvious dump stat. Near-impossible to catch and yields 3 Attack EVs. Follows a slow 1.25M XP grind.

It’s believed that this Pokémon modeled its fighting style on the flow of a river—sometimes rapid, sometimes calm.

Sword

This form of Urshifu is a strong believer in defeating foes by raining many blows down on them. Its strikes are nonstop, flowing like a river.

Urshifu Weakness

Avg

Urshifu is weak to Fairy, Fighting, and Flying-type moves. Watch out for Fairy attacks, those deal 4x damage. On the flip side, it's immune to Psychic-type moves entirely. Urshifu's physical bulk (base 100 Def) helps cushion physical weakness hits, but special attackers are the bigger threat.

Focus Sash guarantees Urshifu survives one hit from full HP. That's enough to deal early damage and fire off Wickedblow before going down. Unseenfist and max Attack and Speed EVs maximize first-turn impact.
