  2. Progress through Bleak Beach story quests until Meowth spots someone lying on the ground.

  4. Build a Full Recovery habitat on your island to recruit Peakychu permanently.

About Peakychu#

A ghostly white female Pikachu with droopy ears, oversized eyes, and a faint ethereal glow. Don't let the appearance fool you — she's Electric-type, not Ghost. Her pale look comes from using all her electricity to heal sick Pokemon friends during the catastrophe that created Pokopia. That sacrifice permanently drained her power. Even her tail shrank, since Pikachu tails function as lightning rods for storing electricity. She always appears at night, surrounded by petunias — flowers that symbolize deep regret.

Services#

Provides centralized town lighting through the Illuminate specialty. Regular electric Pokemon with the Generate specialty can only power one machine at a time. Peakychu connects to a charging station and lights up the entire town grid at once. In Bleak Beach, you'll activate 5 charging stations as part of her quest chain, linking Utility Poles to windmills, water wheels, and furnaces. Build a Full Recovery habitat to recruit Peakychu to your home island.

Illuminate Specialty#

Peakychu gives 3 quests throughout the game.

  • Bleak Beach, at night. She spawns after Meowth notices someone lying on the ground during the Bleak Beach story. She's always surrounded by petunias. You can't encounter her before this story trigger fires.

  • No. Despite the pale, ghostly appearance, Peakychu is Electric-type. Her faded look comes from using all her electricity to heal other Pokemon during the catastrophe. The energy drain permanently altered her body, including shrinking her tail, which normally stores electricity.

  • Peakychu lights up entire town sections from a single charging station. That's the key difference from regular Electric Pokemon with Generate, who can only power one machine at a time. In Bleak Beach, you'll connect 5 charging stations using Utility Poles wired to windmills, water wheels, and furnaces.

  • Complete the Bleak Beach story quests involving the charging stations and Mosslax. Once Peakychu is befriended, build a Full Recovery habitat on your home island to attract her permanently.
