PP drains every time you use a move. When it runs low, you slow down and can't use specialties. The Pokemon Center is the fastest fix (free full heal), but Leppa Berries and cooked food work in a pinch when you're far from base.
Steps#
- Method 1 — Eat Berries: Press A near a berry tree to headbutt it and collect berries. Eat them to restore PP. Leppa Berry is the best PP recovery berry.
- Method 2 — Pokemon Center: Once you build a Pokemon Center (Env Level 3), use the Healing Station inside to restore PP once per center per day.
- Method 3 — Eat Crops: Harvest crops from your farm plots and eat them as alternative food sources.
- Restore dried-out berry trees by using Water Gun on the stumps — this may yield different berry varieties.
- Cooked food from Chef Dente also restores PP and can enhance your moves temporarily.
PP Recovery Berries
Leppa Berry restores PP directly. Other berries heal status conditions that drain PP faster.
A berry that provides a beneficial effect when eaten
A berry that restores PP when eaten
A berry that has a well-balanced flavor. Restores some PP when eaten.
Pokemon Center, no contest. Full heal for free. If you don't have one built yet, Leppa Berries restore PP directly. You can also rest at a campfire for partial recovery, but it's slower than either option.
They recover PP slowly while resting in their habitat. It's passive but takes a while. For quick recovery during exploration, berries or the Pokemon Center are your best bet. Don't rely on passive regen mid-expedition.
No. PP always recovers eventually. If all your followers run dry during exploration, you can swap them out for fresh Pokemon from nearby habitats. Or just walk back to a Pokemon Center. There's no permanent PP loss.
