Okidogi's spread isn't flashy. Attack leads, Sp. Atk trails, 5 stats clear the bar. Near-impossible to catch and worth 3 Attack EVs, on a slow 1.25M XP grind.
Type-wise, Okidogi takes extra damage from Psychic, Ground, and Flying. Watch out for Psychic attacks, those deal 4x damage. 6 resistances give it solid defensive coverage on top of that. Okidogi's physical bulk (base 115 Def) helps cushion physical weakness hits, but special attackers are the bigger threat.
| Damage | Types |
|---|---|
| 4x (Critical) | Psychic |
| 2x (Weak) | Ground, Flying |
| 0.5x (Resist) | Grass, Fighting, Poison, Rock, Dark |
| 0.25x (Resist) | Bug |
Tyranitar can KO Okidogi with Earthquake (90-106%).

How to Evolve
Breeding
Guarddog helps Okidogi stick around while dealing real damage. Assault Vest for a special bulk boost with no status moves allowed, spread EVs for the right balance, and Drain Punch as the main threat. Not the fastest, but it doesn't need to be.

Stall teams hate this. Okidogi can spread damage across 11 types, with Dark and Normal punishing common defensive pivots. STAB from Focus Punch and Superpower keeps the pressure honest on everything else.

Okidogi is not available as a wild encounter in this game.
This is an event-exclusive or special distribution.
Okidogi has a 555 base stat total and ranks as B-Tier: a solid choice for the right team. It works best as a wallbreaker. Base 128 Attack is where it shines.
Okidogi's biggest threats include Alakazam (Psychic), Golem (Ground), and Aerodactyl (Flying), all carrying super-effective STAB moves. Alakazam is the most dangerous since Psychic moves deal 4x damage.
Toxic Chain is the go-to ability for Okidogi. It may cause bad poisoning when the Pokémon hits an opponent with a move. Its hidden ability Guard Dog can work in specific setups.
Okidogi fills the wallbreaker role. It's a physical attacker with base 128 Attack. Base 80 Speed is workable. Faster than some, slower than many. And it's tanky enough to absorb a few hits.
The core moveset is Drain Punch, Upperhand, Gunkshot, and Knock Off. Drain Punch leads at 24% usage. This set covers the wallbreaker role with a mix of damage and utility.
Introduced in Scarlet & Violet, Okidogi has appeared in 1 games across 2 generations. Later debuts mean fewer total appearances, but it's been a consistent presence since its introduction.
