Every berry tree, flower bed, crop field, and hedge row on your island starts with a seed. Plant one in a soil patch, water it, and give it time. Berries restore PP and make good Pokemon gifts. Crops turn into cooking ingredients (check the Food & Cooking guide for recipes). And flowers plus hedges fill habitat requirements that help attract new Pokemon.
Seed Types#
- Berry Seeds: Aspear, Chesto, Leppa, Pecha. Grow into berry trees that produce fruit for PP restoration and Pokemon feeding.
- Flower Seeds: Beautiful-Flower, Cute-Flower, Elegant-flower, Wildflower, Mountain-flower. Decorative plants used in habitat building.
- Crop Seeds: Bean, Tomato, Wheat. These grow into food ingredients for cooking recipes (see Food & Cooking guide).
- Hedge Seeds: Adorable-Hedge, Healthy-Hedge. Grow into hedges for habitat borders and island decoration.
Every seed you can get in Pokopia, including both individual seeds and bulk packs (Set of 5 bags). Prices listed where available.

Seeds come from three main sources. The PC Shop is the most reliable, but exploration and Pokemon interactions also yield seeds.
PC Shop#
Most seeds can be purchased from the PC Shop. Individual seeds cost around 50 Life Coins, and bulk packs (Set of 5 bags) are available at the same per-seed price. Some seeds are locked behind area progression. Tomato Seeds require Bleak Beach at Environment Level 3, and Mountain-flower Seeds appear at Rocky Ridges.
Cut Move on Plants#
Using the Cut move on existing plants, flowers, hedges, and berry trees drops their seeds. Free seeds while exploring. Cut wildflowers for Wildflower Seeds, berry trees for berry seeds, hedges for hedge seeds.
Pokemon Gifts#
Befriended Pokemon occasionally gift seeds when you interact with them. This is random but provides a steady trickle of seeds as you build friendships. Bean Seeds, Wheat Seeds, and flower seeds are common gift types.
Plants are the grown results of flower seeds. Beyond decoration, they fill habitat requirements. Many habitats need wildflowers, cute flowers, or hedges to attract specific Pokemon.
| Plant | Description | How to Get |
|---|---|---|
| Cute Flowers | Decorative plants used for habitats and beautification | Grown from Cute-Flower Seeds |
| Seashore Flowers | Decorative plants found in coastal areas | Found in Bleak Beach coastal areas; grown from seeds |
Three seed types grow into food ingredients used in cooking recipes. The seed-to-food pipeline is one of the core progression loops in Pokopia.
| Seed | Grows Into | Used In |
|---|---|---|
| Bean Seeds | Bean | Healthy Soup (Cooking Pot) |
| Tomato Seeds | Tomato | Various recipes |
| Wheat Seeds | Wheat | Simple Bread (Bread Oven) |
Find a soil patch or build a field on your island. Walk up to the soil, select the seed from your bag, and plant it. Water the soil to speed up growth. Seeds grow into their respective plants over time.
The PC Shop sells most seeds for around 50 Life Coins each. Bulk packs (Set of 5 bags) are also available. Some seeds are area-locked: Tomato Seeds need Bleak Beach at Environment Level 3, Mountain-flower Seeds show up at Rocky Ridges.
Two free methods: use the Cut move on existing plants, flowers, hedges, or berry trees to drop their seeds. Befriended Pokemon also randomly gift seeds when you interact with them.
Many habitats require specific plants as decorations. Wildflowers appear in at least 8 habitat requirement lists, making them one of the most useful plants to grow in bulk. Hedges and flowers also appear in various habitat requirements.
Yes. Aspear Seeds, Chesto Seeds, Leppa Seeds, and Pecha Seeds grow into berry trees. The berries restore PP when eaten and can be fed to Pokemon for friendship gains. Berry trees can be headbutted to harvest fruit.
