Buildings are the structures you construct across Pokopia's five areas. There are two types: houses where your befriended Pokemon live, and Pokemon Centers that heal your team and attract wild visitors to each area. Each building needs a construction kit and specific materials to build.
Houses like the Leaf Cottage and Stone Den can be placed in any area, while Pokemon Centers are locked to specific regions. Rebuilding a Pokemon Center in each new area is one of the first tasks you'll tackle, and the material costs increase as you reach later zones.
There are two main types: houses and Pokemon Centers. Houses like the Leaf Cottage, Leaf Den, and Pink Hut provide sleeping spots for your befriended Pokemon. Pokemon Centers are area-specific structures that heal your team and attract new wild Pokemon to visit your settlement. Each of the game's later areas has its own Pokemon Center to rebuild.
You need two things: a construction kit and the required materials. Kits are found through exploration or purchased from shops. Once you have the kit and enough materials, place the building in your desired location. Some buildings are ready instantly, while others take time or finish at 5AM the next day. You'll also need a Pokemon with the Build specialty to assist with construction.
Each Pokemon Center requires different materials matching its area's resources. The Wasteland Pokemon Center needs Lumber, Stones, Leaves, and Vines. Bleak Beach needs Twine, Bricks, Sea Glass, and Iron Ore. Rocky Ridges needs Stones, Iron Ingots, Copper Ingots, and Crystal Fragments. Sparkling Skylands needs Poketal Ingots, Concrete, Glass, and Gold. Material costs increase as you reach later areas.
Houses can generally be repositioned within their habitat zone. Pokemon Centers are fixed to their designated locations in each area and cannot be moved. Plan your house placement carefully to keep them near resources and paths you use frequently.
Construction times vary by building type. Some smaller structures like the Leaf Den take about 15 minutes. Pokemon Centers and larger buildings are typically ready at 5AM the next day. A few building types have unknown or variable construction times depending on materials and quest progress.
