Pokopia has five areas based on Kanto cities. You start in Withered Wasteland (Fuchsia City) and Palette Town (Pallet Town). Complete key Requests and hit story milestones to unlock Bleak Beach, Rocky Ridges, and finally Sparkling Skylands.
Steps#
- Start in Withered Wasteland (based on Fuchsia City) and Palette Town (based on Pallet Town, your home base).
- Progress through the story and complete the Request "Yawn Up A Storm" to unlock Bleak Beach and Rocky Ridges.
- Bleak Beach (Vermilion City) and Rocky Ridges (Pewter City) unlock simultaneously.
- Complete story objectives in all three areas to unlock Sparkling Skylands (Celadon City).
- Raise Environment Level to 5 in each area to advance the main story.

YawnFive total: Withered Wasteland (starter), Bleak Beach, Rocky Ridges, Sparkling Skylands, and your personal island hub. The first four are exploration areas with unique Pokemon and materials. Your island is the home base.
You need to reach Great Trainer rank, which requires raising the Withered Wasteland environment level to a certain threshold. Complete the "Yawn Up A Storm" quest line to trigger the unlock. It's roughly 3-5 hours into the game.
