Instant transport to previously visited locations. Faster than Fly but requires a Teleport-capable Pokemon.
Mewtwo warps you instantly to any located Pokemon.
Mewtwo is the hardest Dream Island legendary to unlock. Before you can find it on the Dream Island, you need to complete a multi-floor building project in Sparkling Skylands.
Step 1: Rebuild the Huge Building#
The "Rebuild the huge building!" request in Sparkling Skylands asks you to reconstruct what appears to be the Celadon Department Store, floor by floor. Each floor has its own material requirements and Pokemon population needs. Talk to Tinkmaster to start each phase.
2F Materials (6 Pokemon + Tinkmaster)#
| Material | Qty |

3F Materials (15 Pokemon including Greedent)#
Greedent with the Illuminate specialty is required for 3F. If you don't have one, check the Sparkling Skylands habitats.

4F Materials (10 Pokemon including cross-area NPCs)#
4F requires Peakychu from Bleak Beach and Chef Dente from Rocky Ridges. You'll also need Paper, which is made by feeding Wastepaper to Metang.
After finishing 4F, head to the rooftop. A Master Ball shakes and releases Mewtwo in a cutscene. This registers Mewtwo in your Pokedex.
Step 2: Dream Island#
- Get a Dragonite Doll and place it in your home. This unlocks a sky Dream Island.
- Visit the island. Mewtwo spawns randomly, same as the other Dream Island legendaries.
- Focus on small enclosed rooms where the wall material is visibly different from the rest of the island. These rooms have the highest legendary spawn chance.
- Befriend Mewtwo when it appears.
You'll keep Mewtwo happy with strange stuff and letters and words. Add things it likes to its habitat and comfort goes up.
