Moltres requires the Altar of the Flame building kit, found on the northern island in the Palette Town biome. It's a ground pickup on a dead-grass-covered island.
- Find the Altar of the Flame Kit on the northern island near Palette Town.
- Have at least 15 Pokemon living in the area, including Pokemon with Build, Fly, Burn, and Crush specialties.
- Gather the required materials listed below.
- Build the Altar. Moltres arrives after construction.
