Tinkaton handles advanced construction and crafts specialized parts.
How Engineer Works#
Tinkaton is the only Pokemon with the Engineer specialty. It handles advanced construction projects and converts Iron Ingots into Tinkagears — a late-game crafting material no other Pokemon can produce. Tinkmaster is the named NPC Tinkaton in Sparkling Skylands who first introduces this specialty.
Tinkagear Production#
- Gather Iron Ingots — use the Burn specialty to smelt Iron Ore
- Bring Iron Ingots to Tinkaton — it converts 1 Iron Ingot into 3 Tinkagear
- Use Tinkagears for Lifts, advanced structures, and late-game recipes
| Recipe | Materials | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Lift Platform | 5 Concrete + 1 Tinkagear + 5 Iron Ingots | Vertical transport between levels |
Attract Tinkaton by setting up a Oversized Dumping Ground habitat on your island. This 3-stage family has members spread across different habitat types. Once it arrives, Tinkaton can handle advanced construction and specialized parts.
Give Tinkaton plenty of cute stuff. It also loves spicy food, so cook a few spicy dishes when you can. Check its mood at the Pokemon Center.
