How Engineer Works#

Tinkaton is the only Pokemon with the Engineer specialty. It handles advanced construction projects and converts Iron Ingots into Tinkagears — a late-game crafting material no other Pokemon can produce. Tinkmaster is the named NPC Tinkaton in Sparkling Skylands who first introduces this specialty.

Tinkagear Production#

  1. Gather Iron Ingots — use the Burn specialty to smelt Iron Ore
  2. Bring Iron Ingots to Tinkaton — it converts 1 Iron Ingot into 3 Tinkagear
  3. Use Tinkagears for Lifts, advanced structures, and late-game recipes
