How Paint Works#
Smeargle is the only Pokemon with the Paint specialty. It recolors furniture and adds patterns using Dye materials. Smearguru is the named NPC Smeargle in Bleak Beach who first introduces this specialty.
The Painting Process#
- Get a Crush specialty Pokemon — it grinds berries and materials into Dye
- Bring furniture + Dye to Smeargle — items with a paintbrush icon can be recolored
- Choose your color and pattern — multi-part furniture can be painted segment by segment
Build a Tiny Atelier habitat to attract Smeargle. Once it arrives, Smeargle can recolor and add patterns to furniture.
