Zygarde Weakness
Type-wise, Zygarde takes extra damage from Ice, Dragon, and Fairy. Watch out for Ice attacks, those deal 4x damage. Electric moves do nothing thanks to a full immunity. Zygarde leans offensive (base 100 Atk) rather than trying to tank its weaknesses.
| Damage | Types |
|---|---|
| 4x (Critical) | Ice |
| 2x (Weak) | Dragon, Fairy |
| 0.5x (Resist) | Fire, Poison, Rock |
| 0x (Immune) | Electric |

Base Stats
The stat budget goes to damage. Speed and Attack carry the offense, HP doesn't even come close. An Order Pokemon on a slow 1.25M XP grind, worth 3 HP EVs per KO.
Born when around 10% of Zygarde’s cells have been gathered from all over, this form is skilled in close-range combat.
Zygarde Guide
Zygarde is a Legendary Pokemon rated A-Tier. At 486 BST, it hits hard. It excels as a setup sweeper. Base 115 Speed stands out.
Zygarde's biggest threats include Weavile (Ice), Garchomp (Dragon), and Sylveon (Fairy), all carrying super-effective STAB moves. Weavile is the most dangerous since Ice moves deal 4x damage. Zygarde's base 115 Speed lets it outpace many threats and strike first, which matters more than trying to tank hits.
Aura Break is the go-to ability for Zygarde. It makes dark aura and fairy aura weaken moves of their respective types. It's Zygarde's only ability.
Base 115 Speed lets it outrun most of the field. On offense, Zygarde is a physical attacker with base 100 Attack. Defensively? Enough bulk to take a hit or two. Best used as a setup sweeper.
Best way to handle Zygarde: Priority moves (Mach Punch, Aqua Jet, Ice Shard) bypass its speed. Bulky walls that resist its STAB also shut it down.
Game Availability
First obtainable in X & Y, Zygarde has been featured in 6 titles across 5 generations. Legendary status means a single encounter per playthrough in most games.
