Dark/Dragon mid-stage from Deino. Level 64 to Hydreigon is one of the latest evolutions in any Pokemon game. AbilityHustle makes accuracy unreliable. The grind tests your patience. Most teams are done building by the time Zweilous evolves.

Zweilous Evolutions
Partway through Deino's chain. Zweilous still has another evolution ahead before reaching Hydreigon. For breeding, takes forever to hatch with a decent partner pool via one egg group. HP has grown the most so far (+20), but there's still another 180 stats to gain in the final evolution. View every chain in the Evolution Chart.
How to Evolve
Breeding
Breed with Zweilous to get Deino eggs using 50 partners from the Dragon egg group. Notable egg moves include Assurance, Astonish, Dark Pulse and 7 more.
ORAS Zweilous Best Moveset
Dark/Dragon at 85 Attack with AbilityHustle boosting further. Carries 4x Fairy weakness. The moveset fires at mid-stage power. Hydreigon one evolution away puts 125 Sp. Atk and AbilityLevitate to A-tier use despite the Fairy vulnerability.

Zweilous Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire Guide
Zweilous is meant to evolve into Hydreigon. At 420 BST, the stats aren't there for competitive play yet. Pre-evolution Pokemon rarely hold up against fully evolved threats.
In Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire, Zweilous's biggest threats include Gardevoir (Fairy), Kyurem (Ice), and Machamp (Fighting), all carrying super-effective STAB moves. Gardevoir is the most dangerous since Fairy moves deal 4x damage. Bug and Dragon-type attackers are also a problem. With 5 weakness types, most competitive teams carry at least one counter.
Hustle is the go-to ability for Zweilous. It strengthens physical moves to inflict 1.5× damage, but decreases their accuracy to 0.8×. It's Zweilous's only ability.
At base 58 Speed, it won't be moving first often. On offense, Zweilous is a physical attacker with base 85 Attack. Defensively? Enough bulk to take a hit or two.
For Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire, you can run Zweilous through the first few routes without issues. 420 BST won't carry you far though. Get it to Hydreigon as fast as you can.
Game Availability
Zweilous joined the series in Black & White and has been available in 8 titles so far. With 6 generations of appearances, it's established itself despite the later start.
