The egg pool carries weight here. Mist and Muddy Water aren't available any other way for Wishiwashi, and they meaningfully change what it threatens. Stack those on top of Hydro Pump and Aqua Tail for solid options.

Wishiwashi Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon Guide
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, Wishiwashi's biggest threats include Manectric (Electric) and Breloom (Grass), all carrying super-effective STAB moves. Only 2 weaknesses means fewer dedicated counters to worry about. At base 40 Speed, Wishiwashi won't outrun any of these threats so switching to a resist is usually the safer play.
Honestly, in Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon Wishiwashi is a tough sell at 175 BST. Plenty of stronger Water options exist. Fun pick, not a practical one.
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, Wishiwashi looks average on paper at 175 BST. But Schooling is why it sees play. Build around that and it pulls its weight. C-Tier on our tier list. Ice Beam with Assault Vest is the standard set.
Wishiwashi gets Schooling. But Schooling is the one that matters. It's the centerpiece of every viable set. Build around that.
Wishiwashi is a mixed attacker with base 20 Attack and 25 Sp. Atk. Fragile, can't afford to take many hits, too. Speed tells the real story. Base 40 Speed is low. Priority moves or Trick Room are the way to go.
