Whimsicott Black 2 & White 2 Guide
In Black 2 & White 2, Prankster changes the entire equation for Whimsicott. The 480 BST doesn't tell the full story. Ranked C-Tier as a pivot. Stun Spore with Focus Sash is the standard set.
Prankster is what you want on Whimsicott. Every competitive set worth running is built with that ability in mind. The alternatives (Infiltrator, Chlorophyll) work on paper but Prankster is what makes Whimsicott worth using.
Base 116 Speed lets it outrun most of the field. On offense, Whimsicott is a physical attacker with base 67 Attack. Defensively? Enough bulk to take a hit or two. Best used as a pivot.
In Black 2 & White 2, run Stun Spore, Taunt, Leech Seed, and Encore on Whimsicott. Stun Spore is the most common pick at 0% usage. This set covers the pivot role with a mix of damage and utility.
