USUM Typhlosion Best Moveset
109 Sp. Atk at 100 Speed with AbilityFlash Fire granting Fire immunity as a hidden ability. Fire TermStab hits first against most of the mid-tier. But the moveset lacks the coverage to threaten Water or Rock-types, and pure Fire typing offers fewer resistances than the format's dual-typed competitors. C-tier through Speed and moderate power.

Typhlosion Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon Guide
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, Flash Fire changes the entire equation for Typhlosion. The 534 BST doesn't tell the full story. Ranked C-Tier as a sweeper. Eruption with Choice Scarf is the standard set.
Flash Fire is what you want on Typhlosion. Every competitive set worth running is built with that ability in mind. The alternatives (Blaze) work on paper but Flash Fire is what makes Typhlosion worth using. With base 100 Speed, Flash Fire gives Typhlosion an edge before opponents can react.
Base 100 Speed lets it outrun most of the field. On offense, Typhlosion is a special attacker with base 109 Sp. Atk. Defensively? Enough bulk to take a hit or two. Best used as a sweeper.
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, run Eruption, Focus Blast, Extrasensory, and Fire Blast on Typhlosion. Eruption is the most common pick at 0% usage. Eruption provides reliable STAB damage.
