Throh Black 2 & White 2 Guide
In Black 2 & White 2, Mold Breaker changes the entire equation for Throh. The 465 BST doesn't tell the full story. Ranked C-Tier as a tank. Rest with Leftovers is the standard set.
Mold Breaker is what you want on Throh. Every competitive set worth running is built with that ability in mind. The alternatives (Guts, Inner Focus) work on paper but Mold Breaker is what makes Throh worth using.
Base 45 Speed is low. Priority moves or Trick Room are the way to go. On offense, Throh is a physical attacker with base 100 Attack. Defensively? Tanky enough to absorb a few hits. Best used as a tank.
For Black 2 & White 2, the core moveset is Rest, Circlethrow, Sleep Talk, and Bulk Up. Rest leads at 0% usage. This set covers the tank role with a mix of damage and utility.
Game Availability
Throh joined the series in Black & White and has been available in 8 titles so far. With 6 generations of appearances, it's established itself despite the later start.
