Stunfisk Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon Guide
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, Stunfisk has a 471 base stat total and ranks as C-Tier: a niche pick in Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon's meta. It works best as a trick room. Stealth Rock with Leftovers is the standard set.
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, Stunfisk's biggest threats include Swampert (Water), Roserade (Grass), and Lapras (Ice), all carrying super-effective STAB moves. Ground-type attackers are also a problem. At base 32 Speed, Stunfisk won't outrun any of these threats so switching to a resist is usually the safer play.
Stunfisk is a static encounter at Alola Ultra Space Wilds in Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon. Stunfisk appears at level 60. Prerequisite: UNCOMMON. Save before the encounter. These one-shot Pokemon don't respawn if you knock them out or run out of Poke Balls.
Static is the go-to ability for Stunfisk. It has a 30% chance of paralyzing attacking Pokémon on contact. Its hidden ability Sand Veil can work in specific setups. Limber is the other option. Pick based on what your team needs.
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, Stunfisk fills the trick room role. It's a mixed attacker with base 66 Attack and 81 Sp. Atk. Base 32 Speed is low. Priority moves or Trick Room are the way to go. And it's tanky enough to absorb a few hits.
Game Availability
Stunfisk first appeared in Black & White and spans 8 games across 6 generations. It later gained a Galarian form in Generation 8, adding new dimensions to its competitive identity.
