Is Slowbro Good in Legends: Z-A Playthrough?
Slowbro is the defensive anchor of the line, and Mega Slowbro pushes that physical bulk to an extreme. Absorbs hit after hit while firing Water and Psychic attacks on long but powerful cooldowns. The Mega form excels in sustained battles against DYN4MO and Fist of Justice where fights drag on. Not fast, but very hard to take down.

Slowbro Legends: Z-A Guide
In Legends: Z-A, Slowbro works as a wallbreaker with 590 BST behind it. B-Tier on our list: a solid option in Legends: Z-A for the right team. Scald with Leftovers is the standard set.
Mega Evolution isn't available in Legends: Z-A, but Slowbro does have a Mega form in Gen 6-7 games (X/Y, ORAS, Sun/Moon). Mega Slowbro hits 690 BST.
In Legends: Z-A, Slowbro's biggest threats include Jolteon (Electric), Exeggutor (Grass), and Scyther (Bug), all carrying super-effective STAB moves. Ghost and Dark-type attackers are also a problem. With 5 weakness types, most competitive teams carry at least one counter. At base 30 Speed, Slowbro won't outrun any of these threats so switching to a resist is usually the safer play.
Shell Armor is the go-to ability for Slowbro. It protects against critical hits. It's Slowbro's only ability.
Slowbro is a special attacker with base 130 Sp. Atk. Tanky enough to absorb a few hits, too. Speed tells the real story. Base 30 Speed is low. Priority moves or Trick Room are the way to go. Fits the wallbreaker role.
Game Availability
