Sliggoo Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire Guide
In Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire, Sliggoo isn't fully evolved, so it's not built for competitive play. You'll want to evolve it into Goodra to unlock its full potential. At 452 BST, it's a stepping stone rather than a team anchor.
In Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire, Run Sap Sipper on Sliggoo. It's the ability that defines how you build around it and the main reason it holds a competitive niche. Sliggoo also gets Hydration and Gooey, but they don't compare.
In Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire, Sliggoo fills the balanced role. It's a mixed attacker with base 75 Attack and 83 Sp. Atk. At base 60 Speed, it won't be moving first often. And it's enough bulk to take a hit or two.
In Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire, Sliggoo does the job early-game if you need a Dragon type on your team. Evolve it into Goodra before the later gyms and it holds up fine through the story.
Game Availability
Sliggoo first appeared in X & Y and spans 8 games across 5 generations. It later gained a Hisuian form in Generation 8, adding new dimensions to its competitive identity.
