Sigilyph Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon Guide
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, Don't let Sigilyph's 490 base stat total fool you. Magic Guard is what makes it tick. It punches way above its weight class. We rate it C-Tier as an attacker. Ice Beam with Life Orb is the standard set.
Sigilyph is a static encounter at Alola Ultra Space Wilds in Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon. Sigilyph appears at level 60. Prerequisite: UNCOMMON. Save before the encounter. These one-shot Pokemon don't respawn if you knock them out or run out of Poke Balls.
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, Run Magic Guard on Sigilyph. It's the ability that defines how you build around it and the main reason it holds a competitive niche. Sigilyph also gets Wonder Skin and Tinted Lens, but they don't compare.
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, Sigilyph fills the attacker role. It's a special attacker with base 103 Sp. Atk. Base 97 Speed is workable. Faster than some, slower than many. And it's enough bulk to take a hit or two.
Game Availability
Introduced in Black & White, Sigilyph has appeared in 7 games across 6 generations. Later debuts mean fewer total appearances, but it's been a consistent presence since its introduction.
