Sigilyph Black 2 & White 2 Guide
In Black 2 & White 2, Don't let Sigilyph's 490 base stat total fool you. Magic Guard is what makes it tick. It punches way above its weight class. We rate it C-Tier as an attacker. Roost with Flame Orb is the standard set.
In Black 2 & White 2, Run Magic Guard on Sigilyph. It's the ability that defines how you build around it and the main reason it holds a competitive niche. Sigilyph also gets Wonder Skin and Tinted Lens, but they don't compare.
In Black 2 & White 2, Sigilyph fills the attacker role. It's a special attacker with base 103 Sp. Atk. Base 97 Speed is workable. Faster than some, slower than many. And it's enough bulk to take a hit or two.
In Black 2 & White 2, run Roost, Cosmicpower, Storedpower, and Psychoshift on Sigilyph. Roost is the most common pick at 0% usage. This set covers the attacker role with a mix of damage and utility.
Game Availability
Introduced in Black & White, Sigilyph has appeared in 7 games across 6 generations. Later debuts mean fewer total appearances, but it's been a consistent presence since its introduction.
