For the Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl meta, At 580 BST, Registeel is built different. We rank it B-Tier. As a Legendary Pokemon, the raw stats back up the reputation. Best used as a wall. Stealth Rock with Leftovers is the standard set.
Clear Body prevents stats from being lowered by other Pokémon. That's the one you want on Registeel. Light Metal is the hidden ability. Niche, but it has its uses.
