BDSP Regirock Best Moveset
200 Defense is the highest among Rock-types, and hidden AbilitySturdy guarantees surviving one hit. But 80/50/100 across HP, Sp. Atk, and Sp. Def with 50 Speed behind Rock TermStab give the moveset one-dimensional physical bulk. E-tier because special attackers bypass the Defense entirely and Fighting/Ground coverage is everywhere.

Moves List
The level-up pool is slim, so TMs matter here. Regirock's Electric and Ground coverage and more all comes from technical machines, built on top of Stone Edge and Rock Slide for same-type damage. Hammer Arm and Stone Edge are the payoff moves.

Regirock Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl Guide
For the Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl meta, At 580 BST, Regirock is built different. We rank it B-Tier. As a Legendary Pokemon, the raw stats back up the reputation. Best used as a tank. Earthquake with Sitrus Berry is the standard set.
In Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl, watch for Starmie (Water), Venusaur (Grass), and Hitmonlee (Fighting) when using Regirock. They all hit it super-effectively with STAB. Ground and Steel-type attackers are also a problem. With 5 weakness types, most competitive teams carry at least one counter. Regirock has enough bulk to absorb a hit, but don't push the matchup. Pivot to a teammate that resists.
Clear Body prevents stats from being lowered by other Pokémon. That's the one you want on Regirock. Sturdy is the hidden ability. Niche, but it has its uses.
Regirock is a physical attacker with base 100 Attack. Tanky enough to absorb a few hits, too. Speed tells the real story. Base 50 Speed is low. Priority moves or Trick Room are the way to go. Fits the tank role.
In Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl, run Earthquake, Stealth Rock, Stone Edge, and Bodypress on Regirock. Earthquake is the most common pick at 0% usage. This set covers the tank role with a mix of damage and utility.
