Probopass Evolutions
Probopass evolved from Nosepass's chain using an evolution item. It's a non-standard trigger, so check the details below. Breed this form to get Nosepass eggs (average hatch time). The evolution from Nosepass pushed Probopass to 525 total stats. Sp.Def saw the largest single gain at +60. View every chain in the Evolution Chart.
How to Evolve
Breeding
Breed with Probopass to get Nosepass eggs easily using 58 partners from the Mineral egg group. Notable egg moves include Block, Double-Edge, Endure and 4 more.
USUM Probopass Best Moveset
145 Defense and 150 Sp. Def with Rock/Steel typing and AbilityMagnet Pull preventing Steel-types from switching. MoveStealth Rock sets hazards. But 55/75 offenses and 40 Speed leave the moveset unable to threaten anything it locks in. Defensive bulk and Steel removal on a Pokemon too passive to pressure.

Moves List
Egg moves make a real difference. Probopass gets Block and Double-Edge exclusively through breeding, filling gaps that TMs and level-up can't touch. Normal and Electric coverage and more rounds out the picture alongside Stone Edge and Power Gem.

Probopass Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon Guide
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, Probopass works as a support with 525 BST behind it. C-Tier on our list: a niche pick in Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon's meta. Earthpower with Leftovers is the standard set.
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, Probopass's biggest threats include Machamp (Fighting), Golem (Ground), and Gyarados (Water), all carrying super-effective STAB moves. Machamp is the most dangerous since Fighting moves deal 4x damage. At base 40 Speed, Probopass won't outrun any of these threats so switching to a resist is usually the safer play.
Sturdy is the go-to ability for Probopass. It prevents being KOed from full HP, leaving 1 HP instead. Its hidden ability Sand Force can work in specific setups. Magnet Pull is the other option. Pick based on what your team needs.
Probopass is a mixed attacker with base 55 Attack and 75 Sp. Atk. Tanky enough to absorb a few hits, too. Speed tells the real story. Base 40 Speed is low. Priority moves or Trick Room are the way to go. Fits the support role.
For Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, the core moveset is Earthpower, Stealth Rock, Volt Switch, and Hiddenpowerfire. Earthpower leads at 0% usage. This set covers the support role with a mix of damage and utility.
Game Availability
Since Diamond & Pearl, Probopass has been in 12 games. Requiring an item-based evolution to obtain means it's consistently available but requires more effort than simply catching it in the wild.
