Probopass is weak to Fighting, Ground, and Water. Watch out for Fighting and Ground attacks, those deal 4x damage. On the flip side, it's immune to Poison-type moves entirely. It resists 9 types, so it can switch into a lot of moves safely. Probopass's overall bulk (60/145/150) lets it take a hit or two from most weaknesses before going down.

Breeding
Breed with Probopass to get Nosepass eggs easily using 49 partners from the Mineral egg group. Notable egg moves include Block, Double-Edge, Endure and 3 more.
B2W2 Probopass Best Moveset
AbilityMagnet Pull locks opposing Steel types on the field. Rock/Steel at 145/150 defenses absorbs attacks from both sides. 75 Sp. Atk fires Electric and Rock TermStab at the locked target. The moveset eliminates Steel types through trapping while tanking everything else. 40 Speed goes last always.

Egg moves make a real difference. Probopass gets Block and Double-Edge exclusively through breeding, filling gaps that TMs and level-up can't touch. Normal and Electric coverage and more rounds out the picture alongside Head Smash and Stone Edge.

Probopass Black 2 & White 2 Guide
In Black 2 & White 2, Probopass works as a support with 525 BST behind it. C-Tier on our list: a niche pick in Black 2 & White 2's meta. Painsplit with Red Card is the standard set.
In Black 2 & White 2, Probopass's biggest threats include Machamp (Fighting), Golem (Ground), and Gyarados (Water), all carrying super-effective STAB moves. Machamp is the most dangerous since Fighting moves deal 4x damage. At base 40 Speed, Probopass won't outrun any of these threats so switching to a resist is usually the safer play.
Sturdy is the go-to ability for Probopass. It prevents being KOed from full HP, leaving 1 HP instead. Its hidden ability Sand Force can work in specific setups. Magnet Pull is the other option. Pick based on what your team needs.
Probopass is a special attacker with base 75 Sp. Atk. Tanky enough to absorb a few hits, too. Speed tells the real story. Base 40 Speed is low. Priority moves or Trick Room are the way to go. Fits the support role.
For Black 2 & White 2, the core moveset is Painsplit, Protect, Thunderbolt, and Iron Defense. Painsplit leads at 0% usage. This set covers the support role with a mix of damage and utility.
Game Availability
Since Diamond & Pearl, Probopass has been in 12 games. Requiring an item-based evolution to obtain means it's consistently available but requires more effort than simply catching it in the wild.
