Bug at 65 Attack with AbilitySturdy surviving any one hit at full HP and AbilityOvercoat blocking weather damage as a hidden ability. MoveStealth Rock and MoveSpikes available at pre-evolution level. The moveset sets hazards once through Sturdy then faints. Forretress one evolution away adds 140 Defense and Steel typing.

It sticks tree bark to itself with its saliva, making itself thicker and larger. Elderly Pineco are ridiculously huge.

In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, Pineco does the job early-game if you need a Bug type on your team. Evolve it into Forretress before the later gyms and it holds up fine through the story.
