Pelipper Weakness
Pelipper's Water/Flying typing leaves it vulnerable to Electric and Rock. Electric hits land at 4x, so they're the biggest threat. It shrugs off Ground-type attacks completely. It resists 5 types, giving it decent defensive coverage. Pelipper's physical bulk (base 100 Def) helps cushion physical weakness hits, but special attackers are the bigger threat.

Water/Flying at 100 Defense with 95 Sp. Atk firing dual TermStab from the special side. AbilityKeen Eye prevents accuracy drops. The moveset absorbs physical hits and fires Water coverage back. 65 Speed goes last against most threats, and the typing gives common Electric and Rock weaknesses.

Moves List
Breadth over depth defines this movepool. Pelipper won't stack one type's damage ceiling, but coverage across 11 types means it always has an effective option. Sky Attack and Hydro Pump anchor the STAB core.

Pelipper Black 2 & White 2 Guide
For Black 2 & White 2, it depends on your team. Pelipper at 440 BST isn't a powerhouse, but the Water/Flying coverage might be exactly what you're missing.
In Black 2 & White 2, Don't let Pelipper's 440 base stat total fool you. Drizzle is what makes it tick. It punches way above its weight class. We rate it C-Tier. Hurricane with Leftovers is the standard set.
In Black 2 & White 2, Run Drizzle on Pelipper. It's the ability that defines how you build around it and the main reason it holds a competitive niche. Pelipper also gets Keen Eye and Rain Dish, but they don't compare.
In Black 2 & White 2, Pelipper fills the balanced role. It's a mixed attacker with base 50 Attack and 95 Sp. Atk. At base 65 Speed, it won't be moving first often. And it's enough bulk to take a hit or two.
Game Availability
Pelipper first appeared in Ruby & Sapphire and has been available in 16 games across 8 generations. Obtainable through wild encounters in most titles where it appears.
