Miraidon Guide

  • Miraidon is a Legendary Pokemon rated S-Tier. At 670 BST, it hits hard. It excels as a sweeper. Base 135 Sp. Atk is where it shines.

  • Miraidon is a static encounter at Paldea The Great Crater Of Paldea in . Miraidon appears at level 72. Prerequisite: Post-game. Save before the encounter. These one-shot Pokemon don't respawn if you knock them out or run out of Poke Balls.

  • Miraidon's biggest threats include Lapras (Ice), Rhydon (Ground), and Salamence (Dragon), all carrying super-effective STAB moves. Fairy-type attackers are also a problem. Miraidon has enough bulk to absorb a hit, but don't push the matchup. Pivot to a teammate that resists.

  • Hadron Engine is the go-to ability for Miraidon. It creates an Electric Terrain when entering battle, and boosts Special Attack while active. It's Miraidon's only ability.

  • Miraidon fills the sweeper role. It's a special attacker with base 135 Sp. Atk. Base 135 Speed lets it outrun most of the field. And it's tanky enough to absorb a few hits.

Game Availability

Miraidon has appeared in 1 games since Scarlet & Violet, spanning 2 generations. As a Legendary, it's typically a one-per-save encounter tied to the story or post-game content.
