Mewtwo Sun & Moon Guide
In Sun & Moon, Mewtwo is a Legendary Pokemon rated S-Tier. At 780 BST, it hits hard. It excels as a sweeper. Psystrike with Life Orb is the standard set.
In Sun & Moon, yes. Mewtwo has two Mega forms: Mega Mewtwo X and Mega Mewtwo Y. Both hit 880 BST. X and Y push the build in different directions, so pick based on what your team needs. One Mega per battle.
In Sun & Moon, Mewtwo's biggest threats include Scyther (Bug), Misdreavus (Ghost), and Tyranitar (Dark), all carrying super-effective STAB moves.
Insomnia is the go-to ability for Mewtwo. It prevents sleep. It's Mewtwo's only ability.
In Sun & Moon, Mewtwo fills the sweeper role. It's a special attacker with base 194 Sp. Atk. Base 140 Speed lets it outrun most of the field. And it's tanky enough to absorb a few hits.
