Mewtwo Weakness

Type-wise, Mewtwo takes extra damage from Bug, Ghost, and Dark. Mewtwo's special bulk (base 120 Sp.Def) helps absorb special-type weaknesses, though physical moves exploit the lower Defense.

LGPE Mewtwo Best Moveset

Two Mega forms, both extreme. Mega Mewtwo Y reaches 194 Sp. Atk at 140 Speed, the highest special stat in the entire game. Mega Mewtwo X adds Fighting typing at 190 Attack on the physical side. Without a Mega, 154 Sp. Atk at 130 Speed already makes the moveset the strongest special attacker by raw numbers. Everything about Mewtwo is excessive.

Best Build

Let's Go Pikachu & Eevee uses different battle mechanics.

Competitive build content is not applicable for this game. Select a main series game for builds.

Moves List

Stall teams hate this. Mewtwo can spread damage across 12 types, with Normal and Ice punishing common defensive pivots. STAB from Dream Eater and Psychic keeps the pressure honest on everything else.
