Medicham Legends: Z-A Guide
In Legends: Z-A, Medicham looks average on paper at 510 BST. But Pure Power is why it sees play. Build around that and it pulls its weight. C-Tier sweeper on our tier list. Close Combat with Choice Band is the standard set.
Mega Evolution isn't available in Legends: Z-A, but Medicham does have a Mega form in Gen 6-7 games (X/Y, ORAS, Sun/Moon). Mega Medicham hits 610 BST.
In Legends: Z-A, Medicham's biggest threats include Salamence (Flying), Misdreavus (Ghost), and Clefable (Fairy), all carrying super-effective STAB moves.
Medicham gets Pure Power. But Pure Power is the one that matters. It's the centerpiece of every viable set. Build around that. With base 100 Speed, Pure Power gives Medicham an edge before opponents can react.
Medicham is a physical attacker with base 100 Attack. Enough bulk to take a hit or two, too. Speed tells the real story. Base 100 Speed lets it outrun most of the field. Fits the sweeper role.
